Rosegaar is a family dairy operation built on a commitment to doing things right. We are not a feed company that decided to start a farm. We are farmers who developed feed programs we believe in — and decided to make them available to other operations like ours.
We have been feeding Rosegaar Soymeal and Redmond salt for over two years. We implemented HI-GEL in August 2025. These are not products we discovered at a trade show. They are products we searched for, tested, and validated on our own herd before we ever recommended them to another farmer.
We do not sell products we do not believe in. Everything we offer, we feed on our own farm first.

Elite Genetics Investment
We made a significant investment into elite Holstein genetics — registered with Holstein Canada and sourced from respected breeding programs built around strong maternal lines and long-term performance.
Top 20 in Canada for Pro$ Index
Our genomically tested animals ranked among the Top 20 in Canada for Pro$ — a recognition of the investment in functional, high-value genetics.
Soymeal & Redmond Salt Program Begins
We committed to Rosegaar Soymeal and Redmond salt as foundational elements of our feed program. What followed was a steady climb in production averages, herd health, and herd size.
U.S. Heifer Export Program
After establishing our genetics and management program, we began selling pod loads of fresh heifers to buyers in the United States — a direct result of the quality we built into our development program.
HI-GEL Implementation
We introduced HI-GEL to our milking herd and observed an average production gain of 2 litres per cow per day while replacing 2 kg of ground corn with 1 kg of HI-GEL.
Rosegaar Feed — Available to Other Farmers
We opened our feed program to fellow farmers who want access to the same products, same protocols, and same thinking that built our operation. We are not a feed company. We are farmers sharing what works.
